When a business grows despite itself
100+ person firm. 12% annual growth. First board-approved growth plan.
The Situation
A high-performing professional services firm. Over 100 people. A partnership structure with multiple founders. Growing steadily without any deliberate effort. And quietly breaking under its own success. The shareholders had never had a proper conversation about what they actually wanted from the business.
What we Did
We began with the shareholders, individual conversations to surface what each partner wanted. From that, we built shared KPIs the business had never had. We restructured the ExCo from 18 to 5, closing the critical gap between middle management and the board. Limbik took a seat at the ExCo table, working with the MD on a 12-quarter growth plan and helping her lead with the authority her capability deserved.
Outcome
A business shifted from reactive to proactive for the first time. Shareholders aligned around shared expectations. An ExCo restructured to execute. A 12-quarter growth plan signed off at board level.
